Monte Bamboli Grenache Toscana IGT 0.75L

Grenache in Tuscany — that sounds unusual, but it works with convincing consistency at the Petra winery. The estate is located in the coastal strip of the Maremma, one of the warmest and driest wine regions in Italy, where Mediterranean grape varieties like Grenache can unfold their full ripeness.

In the glass, the Monte Bamboli shows a luminous ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose, it opens with pomegranate, dried raspberry, and a hint of rose blossom — typical for the grape variety, but underpinned with Tuscan warmth. On the palate, it appears supple, with soft tannins, lively acidity, and a finish that lets subtle spice and red berry fruits linger.

With food, it pairs well with grilled lamb, pasta with tomato sauce, or a spicy Pecorino. Serving temperature: 16–17 °C.
