Merlot Andeluna Reserve Altitud Tupungato Mendoza 0.75L

A Merlot from the high altitude of Tupungato, one of the coolest growing areas in Mendoza at over 1,200 meters — the temperature fluctuations between day and night ensure slow ripening and distinct aromatics.

Andeluna Cellars is located in the Uco Valley at the foot of the Andes and works with grapes from its own vineyards, which are irrigated by meltwater from the Cordillera. The Reserva line stands for selective harvesting and careful vinification in the cellar.

In the glass, luminous ruby red. The nose shows ripe blackberry and dark cherry, plus vanilla and a hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, soft, sweetish tannins, full body, and a well-integrated acidity that gives the wine structure without creating sharpness. The finish is long and spicy.

Pairs well with beef fillet, lamb shank with rosemary, or aged Manchego. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.
