Malbec Andeluna Pasionado Tupungato Mendoza 0.75L

From the high-altitude Tupungato in the Uco Valley — one of the coolest growing areas in Mendoza at over 1,000 meters above sea level — comes this Malbec with a freshness that one cannot always expect from Argentine red wines. Andeluna Cellars works specifically with this altitude to preserve aromas and acidity that are quickly lost in the hotter lowlands.

In the glass, the Pasionado shows a deep ruby red. On the nose, blackberry, black plum, and violet — the typical floral profile of Malbec, here particularly clear and without heavy over-ripeness. On the palate, medium to full body, velvety tannins, a lively fruit line, and a pleasantly long finish with a slightly spicy note.

Pairs well with grilled beef, lamb shank with herbs, or a strong hard cheese. Drinking temperature: 16–18 °C.
