Le Volte dell'Ornellaia brings the signature of one of Tuscany's most famous wineries to an accessible, juicy red wine. This version comes to the table as a 6-liter bottle (imperial), a format that makes an impression at dinner parties and large tables.

The cuvée combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, the characteristic grape varieties of Ornellaia, on the Tuscan coast. It is aged in used barriques and tanks. This keeps the fruit in the foreground while the tannins are cleanly integrated.

The wine glows purple in the glass. The nose shows cherry and wild strawberry, plus a fine note of menthol. On the palate, it is dry, clearly structured, and juicy, with fresh acidity, noticeable power, and aromatic depth. The finish remains harmonious and fruit-driven.

We recommend it at 16–18 °C, preferably decanted beforehand. It goes with pasta with game ragout, grilled lamb, Bistecca alla Fiorentina, or aged Pecorino. A wine for large groups where everyone at the table wants to pour from the same bottle.
