Joaquin Vino della Stella Riserva Fiano di Avellino DOCG 0.75L

Vino della Stella Riserva is Joaquin's answer to the question of what Fiano di Avellino can really do: a white wine from Campania that gains depth over the years instead of losing freshness.

Joaquin is one of the wineries that consistently treats Fiano in Irpinia – the hilly region east of Naples, reaching altitudes of up to 600 meters – as a single-vineyard wine. The DOCG Fiano di Avellino designation is characterized by volcanic-mineral soils and a climate that, despite its southern exposure, ensures vibrant acidity. The Riserva classification signifies extended aging – a commitment to seriousness.

In the glass, the wine displays an intense straw yellow color with golden hues. The nose opens with aromas of Mediterranean herbs – basil and mint – alongside ripe fruit and a distinct mineral note reminiscent of volcanic rock. On the palate, it is full-bodied and vibrant, with a structure that promises a long finish. The finish is dry and spicy.

Best served at 10–12 °C . Pairs well with seafood pasta, grilled sea bass, or buffalo mozzarella with sun-dried tomatoes. If desired, a bottle can be cellared for another two to four years.
