The Jassarte from Guado al Melo is a Tuscan red wine that is created in the single vineyard Campo Giardino on the first slope of the Segalari hill — a location that gives the wine a clear origin and independence.

Guado al Melo is a winery from the Bolgheri region on the Tuscan coast, known for careful hand-picking and a philosophy that places vineyard potential above marketing effects. The Campo Giardino site provides the basis for this dry Rosso with character.

In the glass, the Jassarte shows dark berry fruit — blackberry and black cherry — with a spicy, slightly Mediterranean herbal note in the background. The finish is dry and straightforward, with pleasant structure and well-integrated acidity.

Good with dark grilled meat, wild boar salami, or a mature Pecorino Toscano. Best served at 16–18 °C — an uncomplicated companion for the evening that still has something to say.
