A rosé that shows what Sangiovese can do beyond red wine: fresh, structured, with real character. The IrRosé from Casanova di Neri has been part of the range of a winery since 2018 that is primarily known for its great Brunello di Montalcino — and it is precisely this background that also shapes this rosé.

Casanova di Neri is located in the heart of Tuscany, southeast of Montalcino. The winery is one of the most renowned addresses in the region, with sites at different altitudes and soils that give the Sangiovese its tension. The IrRosé is made from the same grape variety that stands for the house's great red wines — but here in a lighter, direct interpretation.

In the glass, it shows the typical Sangiovese acidity: clear, invigorating, without sharpness. Aromas of red currant, pomegranate, and a hint of dried herbs. The finish is dry and concise, with a mineral note reminiscent of the Tuscan clay soils.

Best served at 10–12 °C — as an accompaniment to grilled octopus, vitello tonnato, or light pasta dishes with tomatoes. It also cuts a fine figure as a summer aperitif on the terrace.
