Ironstone Reserve Chardonnay - Estate Grown

Ironstone Reserve Chardonnay - Estate Grown
A Chardonnay that showcases the sun-drenched side of California: fully ripe, aromatically dense, with a long, warm finish.
Ironstone Vineyards is located in the Sierra Foothills east of San Francisco—one of California's oldest wine-growing regions, known for its mineral-rich soils and continental climate with cool nights. The grapes come from the winery's own vineyards, allowing for close control over ripeness and quality.
On the nose, the wine opens with aromas of melon, vanilla, and a hint of toffee. On the palate, ripe apple, caramel, and more vanilla follow, underpinned by a subtle minerality typical of the volcanic soils of the Sierra Foothills. The finish is long and lingers, remaining soft and rounded.
Best served at 10–12 °C . Pairs well with roast chicken with herb butter, creamy pasta dishes, or mild mountain cheese. Also a great, uncomplicated accompaniment to a summer dinner on the terrace.
