I Muri Primitivo Puglia

Curtain up for Farnese Vini's new Apulia collaboration! The masters of excellent value for money from Abruzzo have been active in Apulia for several years, and now they have found a new, high-performing partner in Vigneti del Salento. The portfolio encompasses the full spectrum of wines that the Salento peninsula, the heel of Italy's boot, has to offer. This includes delightfully light, fresh, and wonderfully Mediterranean white and rosé wines, as well as vibrant reds. Farnese Vini contributes its expertise and has a highly competent head winemaker in Filippo Baccalaro. The I Muri Primitivo presents itself in the glass with a deep, dark violet hue. On the nose, intense, complex fruity aromas emerge with hints of small red fruits such as cherries and blackberries. This wine has a velvety texture and possesses soft, warm tannins with a long finish.

Vineyards of Salento

Vigneti del Salento is an Italian winery located in the Apulia region. The prevailing climate facilitates grape development through temperature fluctuations between day and night and the proximity to the sea. Additionally, the intense heat partially dries the grapes, increasing their sugar content. All grapes are harvested by hand and processed into wine under the supervision of the winemakers. Vigneti del Salento cultivates grape varieties such as Negroamaro, Montepulciano, Primitivo, and Merlot.
