Gusbourne Rosé Gusbourne Estate 0.75L
An English sparkling wine that shows what the chalk soils of Kent can achieve: the Gusbourne Brut Rosé combines freshness and depth in a pale pink glass.
Gusbourne Estate is located in the county of Kent in southeastern England — a region whose chalk substrate resembles that of Champagne. Since its founding, the winery has specialized in classic method sparkling wines and is considered one of the most renowned addresses on the British wine map. The cool growing conditions promote a natural acidity that gives the wine structure and length.
In the glass, the Rosé glows in light salmon pink. On the nose, ripe strawberry, red cherry, and a hint of raspberry appear, underscored by subtle floral tones. On the palate, the wine appears lively and precise — the acidity is integrated without stinging, the perlage fine and persistent. The finish shows a slight mineral note that is reminiscent of the chalk soils from which it originates.
Chilled to 8–10 °C, it makes a good figure as an aperitif, but also accompanies salmon tartare, grilled shrimp, or a light strawberry-rhubarb dessert.
