Grenache-Syrah-Mourvèdre Sélection Spéciale IGP Pays d'Oc 0.75L
A southern French red wine with the classic profile of the Languedoc: the cuvée of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre brings the warmth and power of the region into the glass without appearing heavy.
Les Jamelles is a négociant business based in the heart of the Pays d'Oc that has relied on the aromatic strength of southern French grape varieties for years. The IGP classification gives winemakers leeway in the assemblage — here, the best of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre are combined: the fruit fullness of Grenache, the spice of Syrah, and the structure of Mourvèdre.
In the glass, a powerful ruby red appears. The nose brings ripe blackberry and plum, plus notes of black pepper and garrigue — that typical herbal aroma of thyme, rosemary, and lavender that reflects the landscape of the south. On the palate, soft and round, with a present but not edgy tannin structure and a warm, fruit-focused finish.
Served at 16–18 °C, this wine pairs with grilled lamb with herbs of Provence, merguez, ripe Cantal, or a platter with olive tapenade and chorizo. Even a relaxed evening without an occasion is a good reason to open this bottle.
