Goruli Mtsvane QW Georgia

The Goruli Mtsvane from Georgia is a dry white wine with a golden yellow color and green reflections. The name says it all: Mtsvane means "green" in Georgian, and that is exactly how fresh and lively the wine appears in the glass.

It comes from Château Mukhrani, one of Georgia's traditional wineries in the heart of the Kartli Valley. Goruli Mtsvane is an indigenous grape variety that has long played an important role in its homeland. The wine carries the organic label.

In the nose, floral notes meet gooseberry and lemon. On the palate, it appears fresh and mineral, with lively acidity and surprisingly much body for a white wine. The finish is long and remains citrus-fresh.

We recommend it at 8–10 °C as an aperitif or with light dishes: pan-fried fish with lemon, fresh goat cheese, salad with herbs, or vegetables from the oven.
