Golfers GIN-seng 0.5L

Golfers GIN-seng by Dr. Jaglas is a gin with an unusual base: the ginseng root forms the foundation. The result is a full-bodied bouquet with a balanced body that differs significantly from classic London Drys.

Behind it is a long botanical list of bitter herbs, barks, and roots: gentian, centaury, cinchona bark, galangal, zedoary root, and angelica root, plus lavender, ginger, saffron, nutmeg, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon bark, bitter orange peel, and juniper berries. The spirit comes from Germany.

This composition results in a spicy-bitter profile: spice notes of clove, cinnamon, and cardamom, warmth from ginger, bitterness from gentian and cinchona bark, with juniper in the background. Try it neat or on ice first. As a long drink, tonic water with an orange zest is a good match. It is also a good choice as a digestif after a meal or as a gift for golfers.
