What began with 23 courageous winemakers in a historic 16th-century farmhouse is today one of South Tyrol's most respected wineries. 200 winemaker families passionately cultivate 230 hectares of the best sites between Überetsch and Unterland – on mineral-rich moraine soils at an altitude of 400 to 550 meters.
Cellar master Gerhard Kofler maintains close contact with every winemaker. The foundation for uncompromising quality. As early as 1950, they were pioneers in introducing quality-based payment – revolutionary at the time!
Behind the traditional walls lies state-of-the-art cellar technology. From elegant white wines to powerful red wines, South Tyrolean top wines are created here that rank among the best of their kind internationally.
