Etna Rosso DOC

A red wine from Mount Etna that works with freshness and structure instead of power: the Etna Rosso DOC from Murgo relies on Nerello Mascalese, supplemented by a small portion of Nerello Cappuccio.

The vines grow on volcanic soils on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. The maritime influence of the Ionian Sea shapes the climate and ensures elegance and fine structure in the wine. Vinification takes place temperature-controlled in stainless steel tanks so that the varietal-typical freshness is preserved.

In the glass, the wine shines ruby red. In the nose, red fruits meet spicy notes of pepper and clove. On the palate, it appears juicy and harmonious, with fine tannins, mineral drive, and lasting structure.

Recommendation: Serve it at 16 to 18 °C. It pairs well with pasta with tomato sauce, grilled tuna, rabbit, or aged Pecorino.
