Etna Rosato DOC

A rosato from the volcano: The Etna Rosato DOC from Murgo made from Nerello Mascalese is dry, fresh and carries the mineral imprint of Mount Etna in the glass.

The vines grow on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, one of the most famous sites for Nerello Mascalese. Murgo vinifies the wine with a very short maceration time. This keeps the style fresh and fruit-forward, and the color is light.

In the glass, it shows a pink hue with ruby red reflections. On the nose, red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry dominate. On the palate, it feels juicy and fine, the tannins are moderate, and the finish has good length. Added to this is the mineral note that comes from the volcanic soil.

Serve it well chilled at 8 to 10 °C. It pairs with vitello tonnato, grilled fish, seafood, antipasti or a pizza Margherita. It is also suitable as an aperitif for a long summer evening.
