On the nose, the wine opens with cassis, ripe cherries, and pomegranate, plus chocolate, a hint of smoke, undergrowth, and herbs. On the palate, the dark fruit richness carries a fine spice, the wood remains elegantly in the background, and the tannins are silkily integrated — no scratching, no pressure, but an even pull right into the long finale.
