Eagle Rare 0.7L

Eagle Rare is a bourbon from Kentucky with ten years of maturation in new white oak barrels: dense, spicy, and clearly characterized by vanilla.

It is bottled by Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, the capital of Kentucky. The distillery was named a National Historic Landmark in 2013 and calls itself the "most awarded distillery worldwide."

On the nose, vanilla leads, accompanied by caramel, nuts, and honey. On the palate, it appears voluminous and dense: almonds, spices, and oak meet caramel toffee, sharp ginger, and creamy honey. The finish is medium-long and spicy, with dark chocolate, dry notes, and a lingering hint of ginger.

Drink it neat or with an ice cube so that the dense texture remains in the foreground. It also adds clear accents with vanilla and spice in an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
