Domaine Michel Thomas Sancerre Blanc

Sancerre from the house of Michel Thomas stands for what has made the Loire Valley famous for decades: Sauvignon Blanc on limestone and flint soils, combining minerality and fruit in a clear, dry style.

The family winery Michel Thomas et Fils cultivates its sites in the heart of the Sancerre appellation, where the special terres blanches — chalky limestone soils — give the Sauvignon Blanc its typical structure. Grapefruit and citrus zest define the nose, joined by a fine spice reminiscent of white pepper and fresh herbs. In the mouth, it shows a lively, well-integrated acidity with a long, slightly mineral finish.

Served at 10–12 °C, it pairs with grilled sea bass, scallops with lemon butter, or a goat cheese from the Loire — the classic regional counterpart, which is no coincidence.
