Domaine des Geneves Chablis

Chablis in its most direct form: cool, mineral, with the typical radiance of the Kimmeridgian limestone on which the vines of northern Burgundy are rooted.

Domaine des Genèves cultivates Chardonnay vineyards around the village of Chablis – a region known for its uncompromisingly clear style, distinct from the richer Pinot Blancs further south. No butter, no oak – but plenty of tension, salinity, and length.

In the glass, the wine displays aromas of lemon zest, white peach, and a hint of candied quince. Beneath this lies a pronounced minerality – that characteristic steely, stony quality associated with a good Chablis. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with lively acidity and a rounded finish with a slightly meaty texture.

Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled at 10–12 °C. It pairs perfectly with oysters, grilled sea bass, prawns with garlic butter, or classic chicken à la crème. It also makes a great aperitif – without being too filling. Drinking window: now until 2027.

Domaine des Geneves

In the northernmost corner of Burgundy, where the soil smells of oysters and the sky determines the weather, lies Domaine des Genèves . As a Propriétaire-Récoltant – a winemaker who owns and vinifies his own grapes – the focus here is on origin: genuine, unadulterated Chablis.

This means: Chardonnay on Kimmeridge limestone, a mineral freshness you can almost taste before you even hold the glass up to the light. No distracting oak – just terroir to tell its story.
