Gabriel Boudier

Crème de Mûres Sauvages (blackberry) Boudier 0.5L

Liqueur made from wild blackberries: dark fruit, fine spice, juicy and dense on the palate, with a long finish. Neat, with desserts or as a Kir with white wine; with Crémant, it becomes a Kir Royal.

Crème de Mûres Sauvages (blackberry) Boudier 0.5L

A blackberry liqueur from Burgundy: The Crème de Mûres Sauvages from Gabriel Boudier relies on wild blackberries and the dense, fruit-focused style of French crèmes.

Boudier is based in Dijon and is primarily known for fruit liqueurs, above all the Crème de Cassis, which serves as the base for the Kir in the region. The blackberry is its darker, somewhat wilder sister.

In the glass, dark fruit is in the foreground, accompanied by fine spice. On the palate, the liqueur appears juicy, dense, and supple; the sweetness remains elegant, the finish lingers long.

Drink it well-chilled neat as a small conclusion, pour it over vanilla ice cream, or serve it with dark chocolate. The Kir Mûre is a classic: a dash on dry white wine, such as Bourgogne Aligoté, or as a Kir Royal with Crémant. In a cocktail, it brings blackberry fruit to sours and long drinks.
