Corimbo I DO Ribera del Duero 0.75L

The Corimbo I from Bodegas La Horra is a concentrated Tempranillo from the heart of the Ribera del Duero — an appellation known for its extreme temperature fluctuations between day and night, which is exactly where it develops its aromatic depth.

La Horra is located in the western part of the DO, around the village of the same name in the province of Burgos. The bodega works exclusively with old Tempranillo vines that are deeply rooted in the barren, lime-rich soils and naturally deliver concentrated, expressive grapes. The Corimbo I is the flagship of the house.

In the glass, it shows a dense, cherry-red color. On the nose, blackberry, black currant, and a hint of lavender. On the palate, dense but well-integrated tannins, lively acidity, and a long finish with spicy notes of leather and dark spice — typical for a mature Ribera Tempranillo from old vines.

Pairs well with leg of lamb with a rosemary crust, Ibérico roast pork, or hearty Manchego. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Feel free to decant an hour before drinking so that the bouquet unfolds completely.
