Clas Pinot Grigio Ramato DOC Friuli Venezia Giulia 0.75L

Clas Pinot Grigio Ramato DOC Friuli Venezia Giulia 0.75L
A Ramato is no ordinary rosé wine: with the Clas Pinot Grigio Ramato from Livon, the berry skins draw their copper-colored pigmentation into the must during maceration — the result is that characteristic bronze tone that gives this old Friulian tradition its name.
Livon farms the Cru site Braide Grande in Ruttars, Dolegna del Collio — an area known for its soils of marl and sandstone (Ponca). These soils give the wine structure and a mineral line that is considered a trademark in the Collio. 30% of the wine matures in French barriques, 70% in stainless steel tanks — a vinification that keeps freshness and depth in balance.
In the glass, the wine shows a deep copper-gold. On the palate, aromas of dried apricot, quince, and a hint of bitter almond, plus a lively acidity and a slightly tannic finish — typical for the maceration method. Drinking temperature: 12–14 °C.
Pairs well with fried liver Venetian style, risotto with radicchio, or strong goat cheese. Also a good choice as an independent aperitif with charcuterie.
