Clas Pinot Grigio Ramato DOC Friuli Venezia Giulia 0.75L

Clas Pinot Grigio Ramato DOC Friuli Venezia Giulia 0.75L
A Ramato is no ordinary rosé wine: In the Clas Pinot Grigio Ramato from Livon, the grape skins draw their copper-colored pigmentation into the must during maceration — the result is that characteristic bronze tone that gives this old Friulian tradition its name.
Livon cultivates the Braide Grande vineyard in Ruttars, Dolegna del Collio — an area known for its marl and sandstone (Ponca) soils. These soils give the wine structure and a mineral character that is considered a hallmark of the Collio region. 30% of the wine matures in French oak barrels, 70% in stainless steel tanks — a process that maintains a balance between freshness and depth.
In the glass, the wine displays a deep copper-gold color. On the palate, aromas of dried apricot, quince, and a hint of bitter almond are complemented by lively acidity and a slightly tannic finish—typical of the maceration method. Serving temperature: 12–14 °C. Drinking window until 2027.
Pairs well with Venetian-style pan-fried liver, risotto with radicchio, or strong goat cheese. Also a good choice as a standalone aperitif with charcuterie.
