Châteauneuf du Pape AOC Domaine des Sénéchaux

In 1993, the Roux family, also owners of Château du Trignon, purchased this 25-hectare south-facing estate. Working on this exceptional terroir is done with respect for the environment; the grapes are harvested by hand, and the wine is produced traditionally without fining. Châteauneuf-du-Pape Domaine des Sénéchaux impresses with its substantial body and a rich, finely nuanced spectrum of aromas, ranging from delicate cherry jam and licorice to Provençal herbs and spicy, toasty notes. The 2011 vintage received 93 Wine Spectator points and 92 Robert Parker points.
