Château Suau AC Côtes de Bordeaux 0.75L

A classically structured red wine from southern Bordeaux — dry, with the typical tannin structure of the region and a clear origin profile.

Château Suau is located in Capian, within the Cadillac-Côtes-de-Bordeaux appellation. The vines grow on gravel and clay soils on south- to southeast-facing slopes—a location that gives the Cabernet Sauvignon excellent ripeness and depth. The estate practices organic farming, which is reflected in the vineyard, particularly in the soil health and the concentration of the grapes.

In the glass, the wine displays the typical varietal aromas of blackcurrant and dark plum, complemented by notes of cedar and a hint of graphite. The tannins are present but not harsh; the acidity gives the wine length and structure. Dry, medium-bodied finish with a spicy aftertaste. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.

It pairs well with leg of lamb with herbs de Provence, pot roast beef, or a strong hard cheese like Cantal. It also makes a great accompaniment to a simple barbecue.
