Château Rieussec

Château Rieussec is one of the great names of Sauternes – a Premier Cru Classé, directly adjacent to Yquem. This dry white wine from the Rieussec estate comes from the heart of Bordeaux and shows what the region has to offer beyond its sweet classics.

On the nose, the wine opens with quince jelly and mandarin peel – precise and fresh. Floral notes develop behind, delicate and persistent. The oak notes are well integrated, providing support without being overpowering. On the palate, candied citrus fruit follows with lively acidity, and the finish brings a slightly toasted, warm note that rounds out the wine.
