Château Ramafort Cru Bourgeois 0.75L
A classic Médoc that shows what the left bank of the Gironde does particularly well: structured red wines with depth that nevertheless remain accessible. Château Ramafort belongs to the family of Cru Bourgeois — a classification that stands for artisanally solid, site-focused wines in the Médoc.
The Château is owned by Château La Cardonne and manages 36 hectares on a mixture of gravel, clay, and limestone — typical for the northern appellation of the Médoc. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates the cellar, the soils give the wine its characteristic expression: taut, clear, with recognizable origin.
In the glass, dark blackberry, cassis, and a hint of graphite appear. The tannins are firm but without edges, the acidity holds everything together and ensures a long, slightly mineral finish.
Pairs well with leg of lamb with rosemary, entrecôte, or aged Comté. Drinking temperature: 17–18 °C. A reliable Bordeaux for everyday life — without compromising on character.
