Château Lalande

Château Lalande stands for classic Bordeaux style: a red-berry red wine with structured tannins and the typical character of the appellation — accessible, but with backbone.

The winery is located in the Bordeaux area and works with the grape varieties characteristic of the region, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Both shape the wine in their own way: Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure and durability, Merlot rounds it off and ensures early accessibility.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red. The nose opens with aromas of black cherry and blackberry, plus a hint of cedar wood and tobacco — typical for Cabernet-dominated cuvées from the Bordelais. On the palate, medium body, firm but well-integrated tannins, lively acidity, and a pleasantly long finish with a slightly mineral note.

Drinking temperature 16–18 °C. Goes well with lamb chops with herb crust, a classic Boeuf bourguignon, or aged cheddar.
