Château la Pensée is closely associated with the name Julien Mingot – a relatively young, but talented and, above all, ambitious winemaker from Libourne. The wine is produced in the LaLande appellation, but is comparable to wines from the Pomerol appellation. Château la Pensée (pensée = "thought") is an aromatic wine with aromas of raspberries and other dark berries, and flavors of cherries and pepper, while also exhibiting subtle, velvety oak notes. The finish is very aromatic!
