Château l'Escadre Bordeaux Blanc Sec 420°

A dry Bordeaux Blanc that shows what the appellation can do in white wine: fresh aromas, clear structure, and immediate drinking pleasure.

Château l'Escadre is located in the Côtes de Blaye, one of the oldest wine-growing regions of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Gironde. The 420° – named after the annual hours of sunshine that characterize the vines growing in the calcareous soil – is based on Sauvignon Blanc and perfectly captures the varietal's typical aromas.

On the nose, white blossoms and a hint of citrus peel. On the palate, gooseberry and blackcurrant (cassis) emerge, accompanied by a fresh acidity and a clean, dry finish – classic Sauvignon Blanc without any frills.

Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with goat cheese, grilled sea bass, prawns with lemon butter, or light summer salads. An uncomplicated everyday companion – best enjoyed young.
