Château Haut Vigneau

Château Haut Vigneau
A classic Bordeaux red wine from the Graves region south of Bordeaux – structured, dark-fruited, and with the typical profile of the region.
Château Haut Vigneau is located in the Pessac-Léognan and Graves appellations, where clay-gravel soils form the basis for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The combination of a temperate Atlantic climate and well-draining gravel soils results in red wines with clear fruit and a stable tannin structure.
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red. On the nose, cassis, blackberry, and violets, plus a hint of cedar wood and dark earth – typical for the left-bank character of the Graves. On the palate, medium body, firm but not coarse tannins, and a fresh line of acidity that carries the long finish.
Serving suggestion: Serve at 16–18 °C. Pairs well with leg of lamb with herbs de Provence, entrecôte, or strong hard cheese.
