Château Haut Vigneau

Château Haut Vigneau
A classic Bordeaux red wine from the Graves region south of Bordeaux – structured, dark fruity and with the typical profile of the region.
Château Haut Vigneau is located in the Pessac-Léognan/Graves appellation, where clayey-gravelly soils form the basis for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The combination of a temperate Atlantic climate and well-drained gravel soils results in red wines with clear fruit and a firm tannin structure.
In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red color. The nose offers aromas of cassis, blackberry, and violet, along with a hint of cedar and dark earth – typical of the left bank character of Graves. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with firm but not coarse tannins and a fresh acidity that carries the long finish.
Serving suggestion: Serve at 16–18 °C. Pairs well with leg of lamb with herbs de Provence, entrecôte, or strong hard cheese. Drinking window: now until 2028.
