Château Haut Pontet Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Color: attractive, glossy cherry to purplish red. Aroma: the bouquet blends fruity aromas of Morello cherries, wild berries (blackcurrants, blackberries), and plums with delicate notes of undergrowth and spice. Taste: soft and round with a medium body, gentle fruit and subtle spice, elegant and balanced with present yet excellently integrated tannins. At Château Haut-Pontet, all harvested grapes are rigorously sorted to ensure that only 100% healthy and perfectly ripened grapes make it into the château blend. After approximately three weeks of temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wines are aged in Merrain oak barrels and finally bottled at Château Haut-Pontet, having been traditionally fined only with egg whites.
