From the heart of Saint-Émilion, in the immediate vicinity of Château Pavie and La Gaffelière, this Cabernet Franc grows on sandy soils with veins of clay — a combination that gives the wine both freshness and structural depth.

Château Chante Alouette is located in the core area of the appellation, where Cabernet Franc finds its most elegant expression: aromas of sour cherry and blackberry, underpinned by graphite and a hint of violet, which are typical for this grape variety on Saint-Émilion's soils. The palate shows medium tannins with a silky grip, lively acidity, and a long, slightly spicy finish.

Best served at 16–18 °C, it pairs well with entrecôte with herb butter, leg of lamb with rosemary, or an aged Ossau-Iraty. With potential for further development in the cellar.
