Chateau Bellevue Laffont Haut Medoc Vieilles Vignes

A classic Haut-Médoc from old vines – structured, with dark fruit aromas and the characteristic tannin structure that makes Bordeaux so reliable.

Château Bellevue Laffont is located in the Haut-Médoc, one of the most renowned appellations on the left bank of the Garonne. The Vieilles Vignes – old vines – produce more concentrated grapes with lower yields. Typical of the region, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot dominate the blend, giving this wine its distinctly Bordeaux character.

In the glass, it displays a deep purple-red color. The nose offers aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and a hint of cedar. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with firm but well-integrated tannins and lively acidity. The finish is long with a slightly spicy note.

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C . Pairs well with leg of lamb with rosemary, entrecôte, or strong hard cheeses such as Comté or Cantal. If desired, let the bottle stand for an hour before opening – this allows the tannins time to develop.
