Chardonnay Arthur Domaine Drouhin Oregon 0.75L
A Chardonnay that combines the elegance of Burgundy with the distinctive terroir of the Willamette Valley — cool, precise, with a clear signature.
Domaine Drouhin Oregon was founded in 1987 by the Burgundian négociant family Drouhin in the Dundee Hills. Véronique Boss-Drouhin still oversees the winemaking today, bringing her training in Beaune directly to the Oregon vineyards. The Dundee Hills, with their volcanic Jory soils and the cool maritime climate of the Columbia River corridor, provide the foundation for Chardonnay with natural vibrancy.
In the glass, Arthur displays aromas of gooseberry and green apple, along with wildflowers, orange blossom, and ripe melon in the background. The acidity is crisp and invigorating, the body medium-bodied without heaviness. The finish is fresh and mineral.
Best served at 10–12 °C . Pairs well with herb-crusted salmon fillet, chicken in white wine sauce, or a mature Époisses. Also makes a convincing impression as a standalone aperitif.
