Behind the label is Virginie T., an independent house from Champagne that relies on Chardonnay as a backbone. In rosé cuvées, the grape variety brings exactly what one desires: structure, freshness, and a light fruit line that does not tip into heaviness. Chardonnay from Champagne tends toward mineral tension — this gives the wine its straightforward character and prevents the berry fruit from drifting into candy-like territory.

In the mouth, red berries appear — strawberry, a hint of raspberry — alongside white flowers and a lively, silky acidity. The perlage is fine and lasts a long time, the finish dry and animating. No corners, no gaps — a champagne that whets the appetite without being demanding.

Best served at 8–10 °C. A safe choice as an aperitif, but also convincing with light appetizers: salmon tartare with crème fraîche, burrata with fresh raspberries, or goat cheese on toasted bread pair well with it.
