The Calvados Boulard 200 Anniversary Cuvée is a Calvados Pays d'Auge AOC with 40% ABV, bottled as a jubilee edition for the 200th anniversary of the house. It comes individually in a gift box and is aimed at collectors as well as anyone who wants to give a special occasion as a gift or celebrate one themselves.

Boulard is one of the traditional Calvados houses in Normandy. The Pays d'Auge appellation stands for apple brandies from the classically shaped core area of the region, with the typical signature: apple fruit at the center, carried by barrel spice.

In the glass, ripe apple fruit, caramel tones, and finely integrated oak are in the foreground. The style appears concentrated and warm, with elegant depth, without being loud.

Recommendation: neat and at room temperature in a tulip glass, as a classic digestif after a meal. Whisky or Cognac drinkers will also find an entry into the world of Calvados here.
