Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana Collezione Privata IGT Tuscany

A varietal Cabernet Sauvignon from Tuscany, vinified by one of the most reliable wineries in the region. Isole e Olena is located in the Chianti Classico area between Florence and Siena — an estate that has stood for artisanal precision for decades and, alongside the classic Sangiovese, also cultivates international grape varieties at the highest level.

The grapes for this wine come from selected plots of the estate, carefully chosen for the Collezione Privata — a line that Isole e Olena reserves for its best harvests. In the glass, the Cabernet Sauvignon shows a deep ruby red. On the nose, blackcurrant, cassis, and a hint of cedar wood, accompanied by a spicy tobacco note in the background. On the palate, dense but ripe tannins, medium to full body, and a fresh acidity structure that gives the wine support. The finish is long, with a slightly mineral aftertaste.

Serve it at 17–18 °C, preferably decanted an hour before drinking. It pairs well with braised beef shoulder, leg of lamb with rosemary, wild boar ragù, or a mature Pecorino Toscano.
