Brooklyn Gin
A New York craft gin that consistently relies on handcraft: juniper berries are individually sorted by hand, and the citrus botanicals are freshly cut from four different varieties – candied orange peel, lemon, grapefruit and lime.
Behind this is Brooklyn Craft Works, one of the early micro-distilleries from Brooklyn that helped shape the American gin renaissance. Small batches, no compromises on raw materials – the typical approach of the New York craft segment.
In the glass, Brooklyn Gin displays a clear juniper base that is immediately recognizable but never overpowering. Beneath this lies a vibrant citrus layer: fresh lime zest, a touch of grapefruit bitterness, and a hint of orange oil. The finish is dry and aromatic, with slightly spicy notes lingering in the aftertaste.
Neat over ice works well if you want to experience gin directly. For a Gin & Tonic, light, less sweet tonic waters are recommended – the citrus notes come through particularly well with a thin slice of grapefruit. Brooklyn Gin also shines in a Negroni or Martini.
