Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Pinot Noir AC

A Burgundy that shows the typical character of the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune: light-footed, aromatic and with the fine elegance for which Pinot Noir from this region is known.

Didier Delagrange runs Domaine Henri Delagrange et fils, now in its sixth generation. The 14.5 hectares of vineyards are located in the AOC Côte de Beaune, one of France's most prestigious wine regions. Delagrange's philosophy: minimal intervention to ensure that the grape variety and terroir are expressed in their purest form in the glass. Harvesting at the perfect time is crucial—only fully ripe, healthy grapes make it to the cellar.

On the nose, the wine displays ripe strawberry and peach, complemented by notes of red flowers and a hint of marzipan. On the palate, it is dry with the bright fruit typical of Burgundy and a lively acidity that keeps the finish fresh.

Served at 14–16 °C , it goes well with poultry, salmon trout or mild goat cheese — as well as being an uncomplicated accompaniment to a weekday dinner.
