Bourgogne Côte d'Or Rouge AC 0.75L

Bourgogne Côte d'Or Rouge AC 0.75L
A classic Burgundy from the Côte de Beaune — approachable in character, but with a clear origin: Pinot Noir as it has been made in this region for generations.
Domaine Jean Monnier & Fils is one of the established family wineries in Meursault, where they have been producing both white and red Burgundies from their own vineyards for decades. Their Bourgogne Côte d'Or Rouge bears the new designation of origin, introduced in 2017, which permits only grapes from the Côte d'Or – a step above the basic Bourgogne-Régional and a reliable indicator of vineyard quality.
In the glass, it displays a medium-deep ruby color. The nose offers red fruits—cherry, raspberry—with an earthy undertone typical of Pinot Noir from the Côte de Beaune. On the palate, fine-grained tannins, lively acidity, and a clean, medium-long finish. Not a heavy wine, but one with a clear structure and typical character.
Best served at 16–17 °C . Pairs well with Coq au Vin, grilled salmon, duck confit, or a mature Époisses. Ready to drink now until 2027.
