Bodegas Caro Malbec Argentino

Bodegas Caro Malbec Argentino
A Malbec that shows what Mendoza can do when two wine worlds work together: Bodegas Caro is a joint venture between the Argentinian Catena family and the Rothschilds from Bordeaux — Domaine Barons de Rothschild (Lafite).
The Malbec Argentino is the entry point to this collaboration, vinified from grapes grown in the highlands of Mendoza at over 900 meters. The altitude brings cooler nights, greater UV intensity, and thus more concentrated fruit combined with a fresh acidity.
In the glass: aromas of blackberry, violet, and plum, underpinned by a hint of mint and dark cocoa. On the palate, medium-bodied, velvety tannins, lively acidity—not a ponderous blockbuster, but a Malbec with structure and drive. The finish is fresh and reveals red fruit.
