Arbre Negre Mallorca

The Arbre Negre (Catalan for "black tree") from Vinos para ti (Spanish for "wine for you") is an intriguing blend of Callet, Tempranillo, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon from the sunny island of Mallorca, aged for six months in oak barrels. In the glass, it displays a brilliant garnet-red color. Its aromas are reminiscent of spices like clove and pepper, but above all, of ripe wild berries. On the palate, it is very flavorful and again evokes ripe wild berries such as currants and blackberries. It is also spicy and exhibits a pleasant acidity.
