Jose Cuervo

Jose Cuervo – no name in the world of tequila is more famous. The Cuervo family has been distilling in Mexico since 1795 and thus has more experience with the Blue Weber agave than almost anyone else.
What once began as a small family business is now a world-class producer – yet every bottle contains the same craftsmanship: ripe agave, years of patience and a deep understanding of what makes a great tequila.
Whether you're mixing your first Margarita or discovering a mature Reserva de la Familia – Cuervo has the right wine for every moment.

Jose Cuervo –
Tequila craftsmanship spanning over two centuries

Jose Cuervo is no newcomer: The Cuervo family has been distilling tequila, Jalisco since 1795 – longer than most other producers have even existed. The foundation was the same then as it is today: mature Blue Weber agave, which grows slowly in the highlands of Jalisco under the Mexican sun before being harvested, baked, and processed into tequila.

What sets the distillery apart is its breadth: Cuervo produces both the classic silver tequila for the Margarita and the Reserva de la Familia – a prestige bottling aged in small oak barrels and released annually in limited quantities. This isn't based on a marketing concept, but on generations of knowledge: How long does an agave plant need to grow? When is the piña kernel ripe enough? How much roasting does the oven require? Cuervo has been answering these questions with the same meticulous care for over 200 years.

In the Vinoscout range you will find a selection from the Cuervo portfolio – from the accessible Blanco for cocktail evenings to mature Añejo bottlings that impress when enjoyed neat in a glass.
