Godet Frères is one of the oldest cognac distilleries in the world – founded in 1588 and run by the 15th generation. The house is not located in the heart of Grande Champagne, but on the Atlantic coast of western France , where sea air, chalk soils, and the harsh climate of the Charente-Maritime give the brandies a unique character: somewhat saltier, somewhat wilder than the classic cognacs from the interior.

Jean-Édouard, Maxime, and Cyril Godet now run the family business with a clear focus on quality and style. Their range extends from mature Grands Crus aged in long casks to complex Super Blends and younger cognacs suitable as a base for sophisticated cocktails – all without compromising on traditional craftsmanship.
