Vial Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC 0.75L

The Vial Pinot Bianco from the Kellerei Kaltern shows what South Tyrol can do with this grape variety: a dry white wine with a clear line that combines freshness and substance.

The Kellerei Kaltern is one of the large cooperatives in South Tyrol and manages vineyards around Lake Kaltern at altitudes between 220 and 800 meters. The Mediterranean climate with cool nights — typical for the Adige Valley — provides the acidity structure that distinguishes Pinot Bianco from Alto Adige from more southern white wines.

In the glass, the Vial shows aromas of white peach, pear, and a hint of almond. The palate is medium-bodied, the acidity lively without sharpness, and the finish clean and accompanied by a fine mineral note.

Serving temperature 10–12 °C. Pairs with grilled zander, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, light pasta dishes with zucchini and ricotta, or as an aperitif with South Tyrolean speck and white bread.
