The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon / Shiraz WO Barossa Valley 0.75L

The Signature is Yalumba's flagship — a cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz that the winery has been reinterpreting every year since 1962. Yalumba is one of Australia's oldest family-owned wineries and is located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, where the continental climate with hot days and cool nights is known for concentrated, structured red wines.

In the glass, it shows a deep, dense ruby red. On the nose, the wine opens with black currant, cedar wood, and spicy herbs — typical of the combination of Cabernet structure and the meaty depth of Barossa Shiraz. On the palate, dark berries, a hint of tobacco, and ripe tannins are added, giving the wine backbone without making it feel heavy. The finish is long and spicy.

Best enjoyed at 17–18 °C. Feel free to leave it in the cellar for a few more years. At the table, it cuts a fine figure alongside a rack of lamb with rosemary jus, grilled beef steak, or a strong hard cheese like Aged Cheddar.
