Syrah-Grenache Minimalist Sans Sulfites Ajoutés IGP Pays d'Oc

An uncomplicated red wine from the south of France that brings Syrah and Grenache into the glass without detours: juicy, dry, and deliberately kept simple. The name says it all, because this minimalist from Les Jamelles is free of added sulfites.

Les Jamelles is at home in the Languedoc, one of the largest and most versatile wine regions in France. The cuvée carries the origin designation IGP Pays d'Oc and combines the spicy Syrah with the soft, fruity Grenache. Both grape varieties thrive particularly well in the warm Mediterranean climate of the region.

In the glass, red berries and ripe cherries appear, plus black pepper and a hint of garrigue, the herbal spice of the southern French maquis. On the palate, the wine is smooth with a soft texture and moderate structure; the finish remains fruit-focused.

We recommend it at about 16 to 17 °C; slightly chilled, the fruit comes into its own best. It pairs with grilled food, ratatouille, pizza with salami, or a board with mild hard cheese and olives.
