Sagamore Cask Strength Rye Whiskey 0.7L

Sagamore Spirit from Baltimore, Maryland, is one of the most ambitious rye whiskey projects on the American East Coast. The distillery uses lime-filtered water from a historic spring house dating back to 1909—a detail that helps shape the character of the water and thus the whiskey.

For the Cask Strength, two different mash bills are combined: a high-rye and a low-rye recipe, each aged between four and seven years. Both distillates are carefully selected and blended before only a minimal amount of water is added—the alcohol content thus remains close to the natural cask strength. In the glass, dark chocolate and black pepper appear as dominant aromas, complemented by brown sugar and a hint of honey that rounds off the spice. The finish is long, warm, and clearly rye-focused.

Drunk neat, it best unfolds its full complexity—at room temperature or with a single ice cube that slowly opens up the alcohol. Those who appreciate classic rye cocktails will find an expressive base here for a Manhattan or Old Fashioned.

  • On the homepage. As soon as you have viewed something, the homepage shows the "Recently viewed" row with your last twelve products.
  • In your account. On the overview of your account area, you will find the same list as a "Your history" card.
  • No login, no storage on our end. The history lives only in your browser. That is why only this device can see it, and if you delete your browser data, the list will also be empty.
